- Hand should be relaxed, work with the hips
- Use so that the elbow is close to the body
- When lifting, use two hands for more power, help throwing and backup in case Uke release the hold
- Use the breathing power by opening the lungs
- It helps go go a bit down before lifting
- The lifting starts when Uke brought so his shoulder touches your shoulder, otherwise it would require a big force to lift the hand. His power should be after you (shoulder to shoulder)
- Start to lift from the fingers, than joint by joint
- When throwing, pass thru the Uke, not just move the hand.
- I found it easier to move the hand a bit to the side - not straight to the back of Uke. To the side he has less power to resist (need to confirm)
- Body and hand forward, hand down like a sword, joint by joint finishing by the fingers
- First the hand should be in a good position, only than make the throw down
- In KokyuHo, don't look at the partner circle, try to look at tangential to his neck while one hand is moving down straight to this direction and the other bended and pushing to the same direction.
